Assisted Living

Assisted Living Offers Continued Independence

Presbyterian Home is a continuing care retirement community, offering comprehensive services to suit your needs now and in the future. If you need a little help with daily living activities, assisted living is an ideal solution. You’ll have the best of both worlds: your own private room and the comfort and security of a 24-hour care staff to provide watchful oversight.

All rooms are on the ground floor for your safety and well-being. You’ll appreciate having an individually controlled thermostat in your room as well as personal mail delivery.

Our services include housekeeping, bed and bath linen services, three meals a day, many planned activities, and assistance with daily living activities. Our Resident Evaluation Team is on hand to make sure you receive the appropriate level of services.

Presbyterian Home’s continuum of care provides increased support if your health needs change, allowing you to remain in the same community surrounded by friends and familiar faces. At every level, you can depend on our standards of excellence that have made us a leader in senior living services since 1949. For your supported living needs, choose Presbyterian Home; you can Trust Our Tradition.

Skilled Nursing

Customized Skilled Nursing Care

Whether you require 24-hour nursing care or therapy services for short-term recovery or long-term management of a chronic condition, our skilled nursing center is here for you.

We are known throughout south Georgia for our outstanding nursing care. Our team of professionals including physical, speech and occupational therapists, activity leaders, certified nursing assistants, licensed nurses, pharmacists, social workers and chaplains work with you, your physician and family to provide 24-hour care that is centered around your needs.

Meals are served in our main dining room; for those needing additional assistance, meals can be served in a smaller dining area located in the nursing care center. All residents have access to the hair salon, outdoor paths and gardens, lake, chapel, and other features and amenities of Presbyterian Home.

Our nursing center is located approximately two miles from the Brooks County Hospital, ensuring a smooth transition if further medical care is needed. Our fully licensed center participates in Medicare, Medicaid, the Veterans Administration Program and many other long-term care insurance programs.

Personalized Memory Support

Our Memory Support Center offers a personalized approach to care for your loved one with beginning, mid or late stages of Alzheimer’s or other dementia. In this safe, secure and comfortable environment, residents can interact with others and choose from a wide range of daily activities, all under the caring and careful supervision of our highly trained staff.

Your loved one’s safety and well-being are our priorities. We offer state-of-the-art security, with safe and protected entry and exit, as well as supervised access to outdoor walking paths through a serene courtyard with a welcoming gazebo. Residents benefit from a designated Activities Director, specifically dedicated to our memory support center. To encourage social engagement, residents dine together in their own warm and comfortable dining room.

If advanced care becomes necessary for your loved one, our skilled nursing center is located on campus. Its close proximity ensures a smooth transition.
